Good news and nowhere-near-bad news!
(This photo was stolen shamelessly from the internet)
Looks like the suspension and body work made it through the impact ok. (Un)fortunately (?) two of the wheels are cracked. So basically my hand has been forced and I need to buy a set of wheels that I actually like. N ot a particularly cheap repair but as good an outcome as I could have hoped for. Next up, stripe replacement...

Ooo, what are you thinking of for rimz? :O

I tried already. Supposedly I’d need smaller rotors. I’d prefer a set for my snow tires though.

Things getting worn out/broken is a modder’s dream come true. It’s no longer frivolous. It’s now mission-critical!
I’ve always been partial to the OZ Superleggera series.

The Sparcos were what it had when I bought it - I like how they look (and also they actually come in black, unlike the “black” wheels currently on the car).

I don’t even know yet. The whole internet is in front of me right now...

Sparco in general has some pretty affordable options on tirerack. Time to go play on tirerack.com, lol.

Sparco terra! Trust me!
I wish I’d gone with them over the Assetto Gara’s on my Fiesta ST

am I weird for saying go stock?

I’ll give a follow up to that, import some cool 595 or whatever wheels from overseas

I don’t hate the idea but holy shit are they expensive.

no joke! But you’d be unique - I really want to get a set wheels for the mx5 brought over, but can’t talk myself in to the cost

I’ll just leave this here....

You know what you must do

Ouch, what did you run over again?
What are you going to do with the 2 remaining wheel assuming you’re getting a whole new set?

Ladder? Scaffolding platform? Something similarly sized and metallic?
I’m really not sure. I could hold on to them and get two more and keep those for winters anyway, except I don’t think I can find a set of Blizzaks that fit them. I’ll probably throw them in the garage for now and decide later.

I’ll give my usual answer: Ronal Bear

I was going to say bmw bottle caps but for some reason Fiat apparently used a 4x98 bolt pattern. Not a 4x100

I like where you’re going with this...

Never worry about ladders again!

I don’t have a problem with this.

That seems a bit overkill but I’ll take it into consideration.

Yeah. They couldn’t make it easy.
